A ceremony of signing of the contract on purchase and construction of a waqf hotel was held in Gazi Husrev-bey Library in Sarajevo. The value of the contract is 2 million EUR.
The hotel will be owned by the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it will be located near Gazi Husrev-bey Library.

On that occasion, a contract on completion of construction of the Islamic Center in the city of Lukavac, worth approx. 1,5 million EUR,  was also signed.  

H.E. Sultan bin Ali Al-Khater, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended this ceremony and signed with H.E. Husein Kavazović, Raisu-l-Ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Statement on the beginning of realization of both projects, financed by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the State of Qatar.
