In case of lost or stolen passport, that must be reported to the nearest police station. The original police report should be kept.

Get to the building of the Embassy for registration of the lost/stolen passport, and bring the following documents:

•  The original police report of a lost/stolen passport.
•  2 color photos, dimensions 4.8x3.8cm
•  Any personal document that confirms the identity of the owner of the travel  document (driver's license, ID card ...)
•  Copy of the lost/stolen passport, if any.

In order to issue the Travel document if the passport is lost or stolen, it is necessary to come in the premises of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to provide the following:

• The original police report on the lost/stolen passport.
•  Any personal document that confirms the identity of the owner of the travel document (driver's license, ID card ...)
•  Two color photos, dimensions 4.8x3.8cm.
• The travel document can be issued for a child born in BiH and in this case it is necessary to provide:
•  The birth certificate of the child
•  2 color photos, dimensions 4.8x3.8cm
•  Identification documents of parents and  if possible the marriage certificate.

The Embassy of Qatar in Sarajevo can make attestation of a document issued by the State of Qatar if the document was previously verified in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
The Embassy of Qatar in Sarajevo can make attestation of documents issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the following steps were taken:

• To translate the document into Arabic or English by the court translator.
• To verify the translation at the Court.
• Then to verify the document in the Ministry of Justice
• Then to verify the document in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Submit it to the Embassy together with the original document in Bosnian.
• A person in whose name the document is issued should send by  e-mail or directly submit his/her ID card issued in Qatar.

Attestation of commercial agreements or documents

• In the case of documents issued in BiH which will be used in Qatar, related to establishing of businesses and companies, it is necessary to provide a copy of the contract with the partner company from Qatar or letter of intent sent to the Embassy by e-mail.
• For attestation of commercial contracts, in addition to the above conditions, it is necessary to submit the decision on registration of the company, as well as the owner's authorization.

The power of attorney shall be made by an appropriate state service/agency (in Bosnia and Herzegovina it should be written by a notary).

• For attestation of the Power of Attorney issued in Qatar
  • It is necessary that the document is verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
  • This document then must be verified by the Embassy of Qatar in Sarajevo, and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

• For attestation of the Power of Attorney issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • The Power of Attorney must be written by a notary
  • It must be translated into Arabic or English by a court translator
  • the translation has to be verified by the Court.
  • then verified by the Ministry of Justice
  • after that by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Submit it to the Embassy together with the original document in  Bosnian.

 

For Qatari citizen deceased in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the following should be provided:

• The certificate of death by the hospital.
• Contact funeral home "Bakije", in order to take the body from the hospital, and prepare it according to Islamic practice.
• Death certificate, issued by the municipality (issued upon the Death certificates and copies of the passports of the deceased) (via Bakije).
• Contact available Cargo airline (through Bakije).

Remark:

• It is necessary to pay the bill at the hospital in order to issue the certificate of death
• It is necessary to pay the fee for transportation of the body from the hospital to the funeral home Bakije, and for bathing of the deceased and preparation of kafan (1000 EUR)
• It is necessary to pay the  cost of cargo transportation of  the body (around 1500-2000 EUR).
