H.E. Ambassador Rashid Mubarak Al-Kawari hosted annual reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar. More than 350 esteemed guests - state officials, heads of missions and international organizations accredited to Bosnia and Herzegovina, guests from cultural, political and social milieu attended the reception.

 

In his speech, Ambassador Al-Kawari emphasized flourishing  development of the State of Qatar under the wise leadership of HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar “May Allah protects Him”, which has placed the State of Qatar among the most successful countries in the world in economic, social and scientific achievements.

 

Ambassador Al-Kawari also underlined the strong ties between the State of Qatar and Bosnia and Herzegovina, resulting in signing numerous agreements aiming to further develop relationships in various fields, as well as opening of direct airline connection between Doha and Sarajevo in order to expand tourism and commerce.
