H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs paid an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina upon invitation by H.E. Mrs. Marina Pendeš, Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 After welcoming ceremony – inspection of honor guard and playing of national anthems, the two ministers held a meeting to discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of their further development

Both sides expressed their hope that the final agreement on defense cooperation between the two countries will soon be signed.

The two sides also exchanged information on the situation in their countries, the Balkans and the Middle East, emphasizing the strength of relations between the two countries.

At the end of his visit, H.E.  Dr. Al-Attiyah visited the Peace Support Operations Training Center to get acquainted with the capacity of the Center to train military personnel.
